The last Charter that was past by the citizens of Saratoga Springs was in 2001 under then Mayor Klotz.  That Commission felt the Mayor’s position was that of a ribbon cutter and face of the City.  The Commission added specific jobs that the Mayor’s duties strengthened that position.  This year’s Commission is eliminating those duties that were in the now current Charter passed by the citizens of Saratoga.  We should all vote NO to this insider Commission’s  retooling.
